We strongly advise against using in powwow regalia or other pieces that will be regularly exposed to sunlight, sweat, skin, friction. To prolong life, store in a dark, dry place.
Color Lined beads feature an opaque center surrounded by a transparent color. This gives these beads a depth that can add dimension to any bead piece. Because these beads combine two colors, the overall effect can be shades not otherwise seen on the bead palette. These unique colors are especially great for jewelry and artistic pieces.
Seed beads are a very popular and time-honored option for any bead artist, whether your art is worn on the powwow trail, displayed in a gallery, or adorning a person. They are fairly uniform in shape and size. They can be used in virtually any beaded project, including applique or flat stitch, lane stitch, peyote stitch, loomwork, bead weaving, bead stringing and jewelry making. Since they are so versatile, we recommend using seed beads for beginning beaders, classes, and workshops.
Size 11 (or 11/0) Seed Beads measure between 2.0-2.2mm. The hole of the bead is at least 0.60mm in width. Beads are sold strung on hanks; each hank contains 12 20-inch strands. Approximately 4,000 beads per hank. Made in the Czech Republic.
